Eastern Shore Agricultural Fair

The Eastern Shore Agricultural Fair is a free, family-friendly fall tradition that celebrates the vibrant agricultural heritage of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Hosted by the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the fair takes over the Old Northampton Middle School grounds in Machipongo for a day of contests, games, demonstrations, and community fun. Visitors can watch or participate in skillet throwing, keg rolling, baking and photography contests, an antique tractor parade, oyster shucking, and more. Children will enjoy a variety of activities and games, while local vendors showcase fresh produce, handmade crafts, and delicious food.
