Lovefest 2025 – Flower Power Party at Central Park

Get ready to step back in time at Lovefest 2025, happening Saturday, August 30th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Cape Charles Central Park. This free, family-friendly event is all about 60’s vibes — flower power, peace signs, and plenty of tie-dye.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, then settle in as the English Channel Band takes the stage at 7:00 PM with a high-energy set of retro hits. A Best 60’s Costume Contest will showcase the grooviest outfits, so dust off those go-go boots and bell bottoms. Kids (and kids-at-heart) will love the bubble fun and playful atmosphere, while food vendors and local partners keep the evening lively.

Hosted by Cape Charles Main Street in partnership with Citizens for Central Park, Lovefest has become one of the Shore’s signature late-summer traditions. Whether you’re competing in the contest, dancing under the stars, or just soaking up the community spirit, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
